We need to talk about expectations again.
Although we’re not going to be talking about what they are on the pitch, rather what our expectations are like off it.
@JJJenkinson16 asked the question on Twitter, and it seemed to get a lot more of a comprehensive debate going compared to the poll that Tom Ross posted a few weeks ago.
Whilst there were a number of fans who gave predictions as to where they might come in the league, it seemed like there was a more burning issue amongst the fans, and that was the status of interim manager Pep Clotet, because his name, and the position of manager in general came up an awful lot during the debate.
We will see when the new manager comes in before Christmas then judge at a later date .

The club want the playoffs, I'd be happy with 8th, but I fear we'll end up around 15th if we don't appoint an actual manager soon.

Probably nothing more than 12th place. I have no expectations whilst the caretaker is in charge.

I’d be happy with mid table we never replaced che so we lost 20 odd goals straight away and got no pace in the squad but one thing that bothers me most is pep Why caretaker coach don’t understand it have they got someone else in mind ????♂️????????

Proper manager, new striker & winger then play offs can definitely be achieved. Realistically we will plod along finishing 14th with a squad clearly capable of top 8.

Between 12-15th currently however I don't think that will fly with the owners so expect Pep to be canned at some point, wouldn't suprise me if it was the next international break as thats the last time before the Jan window we have a "break" as such, next few games are critical

With the current management I don't expect to get anywhere near the top half of the table.

Depends on the manager situation I feel we can get much more out of this team with the right person in charge. Currently midtable is my expectations

I think the manager position is a bit of a weird one. I have said before that the term ‘interim head coach’ doesn’t show a lot of faith and that it could end up hurting the club. On the other hand, given how trigger happy the owners have been when it comes to the men in charge of the first team, I’m not going to hold my breath that his title changes anytime soon.
