Calling in the cavalry?
That certainly seemed to be the message that Blues boss Aitor Karanka wanted to get across when it came to team news for tomorrow’s game with Brentford. Having got off to possibly the worst start that we could do last weekend with the defeat to Cambridge United, a result that left Karanka questioning the team’s mentality, we’re going to need all the help we can get.
And that help could come in the form of winger Ivan Sanchez, as Karanka informed fans that he, along with a couple of other players have returned to action this week and could be set to play against the Bees tomorrow lunchtime.

I just hope that these guys are going to be able to make a difference. As I hinted at previously for instance, I think the experiment of having Charlie Lakin on the wing needs to come to a halt, and having a more experienced head like the aforementioned Sanchez or Jon Toral in the team in his place could be a great way to go about it.
What about you? Do you think that someone like Sanchez will be able to make an impact tomorrow?
