It is being reported that we have rejected a bid of just £50,000 for left-back Jonathan Grounds.
The defender is believed to be deemed surplus to requirements at the club, but the five-figure offer is said to be well below our valuation of the player.
Supporters were not amused about the club receiving such a low bid for the 30-year-old:
That's embarrassingly bad.

Verdict:
It does surprise me that we are prepared to let Grounds leave. The full-back has been a reliable defender for us, but I do trust Garry Monk’s judgement if he is allowed to depart.
The fact that he only signed a new deal back in January makes his departure all the more surprising, but that contract was not sanctioned by the current man in charge.
If he is available for transfer though, the amount reportedly an offer is nowhere enough. A number well into six-figures should be what we are looking for to sell the defender.
