So, I guess we can best quantify this as a slap on the wrist?
Is that what we’re saying?
Well it certainly is a lot better than the last time we were hauled in front of the authorities, so I guess that’s some form of progress. Let’s just hope we don’t have got go through any of it again though, just in case things go bad.
Birmingham City revealed yesterday that the club has been ‘reprimanded’ by the EFL after their appeal against the club for “an alleged breach of elements of a business plan”, however the club will receive no points deduction or fine at the current time despite the fact the independent board found in favour of the EFL.
I’m not going to begin to pretend I know what’s going on, but no significant punishment for us is a good thing, so let’s celebrate it. Although celebration didn’t seem to be on the minds of the fans when the news came through, rather they seemed to take issue with the EFL themselves, indulging in a little bit of schadenfreude over the result.
Cry more @EFL

Good job there aren't clubs struggling to stay afloat in this current climate.
Good job there arent clubs actively voting to NOT play for financial reasons.
Good job there isn't a pandemic where they should be helping.
Nah, chase us for a pointless 'moral victory' in court…
