It’s a far cry from the positive reaction that he was getting for some of his other comments.
It just goes to show that you need to tread a bit of a fine line when it comes to these sort of things, especially when you’re in as delicate a situation as we find ourselves in, only five points clear and without a win since the restart.
Speaking after Blues’ late 1-0 defeat away to Fulham, goalkeeper Lee Camp tried to talk about the spirit of the squad and the amount of effort that the players put in across the season. However, the fans didn’t seem to be having any of it.
With some fans believing that we are slowly walking towards a relegation battle, it seems that it isn’t effort that they want from the players, they want results.
And with only five games left of the season, there’s not a lot of time left to make sure that doesn’t happen.

Unfortunately we need more than character we need desire application of footballing ideas and not just to sit and soak up pressure we need someone to take responsibility get on the ball and pass to a teammate not giving it away all the time and inviting pressure none stop
