Zola to enter talks with Birmingham City owners

Gianfranco Zola is preparing for talks with the owners of Birmingham City after today’s 4-1 mauling at the hands of QPR at St. Andrews.

Since Zola took over from Gary Rowett, Blues have won just once in 14 attempts.

Zola used his post match press conference to confirm that talks will take place between himself and the clubs hierarchy in the next 48 hours.

As confirmed here last week (a post we were asked to remove by the club) Zola has been fully aware of the need to improve the fortunes on the pitch and knows his position is under scrutiny.

The purpose of the talks is unclear but he’s likely to ether be warned or removed from his position.
