Birmingham City’s owners have no plans to review the managerial situation at the club until the end of the season, Vital Blues understands.

A source close to the club disclosed- ‘unless something drastically changes or the results become emphatically worse, the club will not review the managerial situation until the seasons close’.

Gianfranco Zola has been the subject of rumours and hearsay recently after winning just two of his 18 games in charge. But the Italian, who has been at St. Andrews since December, is likely to see the season out in the hot seat.

Reading between the lines, a string of heavy defeats could change that stance and Zola has always confessed that he would walk away the money he feels he cannot take the club any further.

However, listening to the managers press conferences, he gives off an aura of a man who remains confident of turning it around.

  • For me Zola’s season starts now .with mags coming to fitness .and with the Don ready to join the juke up front to make a front pairng tougher than the kray twins ..things could change for the better …HE has gone Pearson is favourite to sign for Boro ..KRO

  • I cant see where our next win is coming from maybe it will come as a surprise maybe it wont come at all. Who knows. But I heard this infomashin about reviewing the managerial situation at the end of the season, ON http://sports-radio.co.uk/tilton-talk-show-3/ they will discuses this on Monday at 7.30pm
its a BCFC fans chat show presented by Blues fans anyone can lesson in its free. They did not give the name of or who informed them to this infomashin but it was something to do with the shareholders meeting. I believe a selected group of supporters attended the meeting. And I don’t think it is a secret its just not what the peppers want to print they want the uncertainty and unrest they don’t want to print anything positive about our club. But yes I do want Zola out but not my club dragged through the mud at every opportunity just for their satisfaction. KRO

  • This will likely be Zolas last ever managerial role as I cannot see even a league 1 team taking him on as a manager. He’ll dig his heels in until they sack him with a payoff. I cannot see anything other than this season ending with relegation. I hope TTA are enjoying watching their investment go up in smoke.

  • A source close to the club????? That usually means some one is giving gossip that is normally just plain bo*****s!!

  • They are not reviewing the managerial situation until the end of the season, This is 100% ACCURATE This dues not main Zola will keep his job ever.
