Youngsters are going to play a big part in the Birmingham set up next season with the news that four of the promising kids have been signed up with new deals.
Amari Bell, Mitch Hancox and Will Packwood have all been offered new deals, in Callum Reilly`s case; Blues have taken up the one year option in his contract.
Amari Bell has been offered a one year deal after making good progress in the development squad, he has not yet made an appearance for the senior team but that surely won’t be too far away.
Mitch Hancox has bounced back from almost being released earlier this season to be offered a two and a half year deal with the option of another twelve months. With 19 appearances under his belt, Mitch is expected to go from strength to strength.
Leg break victim Will Packwood has been offered a one year deal and he will be keen to show what he can do after such a frustrating time that he has had.
Callum Reilly will no doubt hold talks later in the season about his contract, but for now at least the club have taken up the twelve month option written into his last deal.
All in all it shows that Blues are going to be very youth orientated next season, especially with the signing of Andrew Shinnie and the promise of more young talent to come.
