The club`s owner CY has pleaded not guilty to the charges of money laundering.

The offences he is accused of occurred between 2001 and 2007 of which he was charged with them in 2011. An interesting aspect of the trail so far is the evidence that is said to be able to prove Yeung`s innocence actually no longer exist, as stock market records in Hong Kong are only kept for 7 years, it will be a nervous wait for the defence to see whether the court feels compelled by any of their points.

The figure is been reported of around £50 – £60 Million, Yeung is said to have used money from cheap stock trading to eventually become an entrepreneur which saw him take control of Birmingham City FC in 2009.

If Yeung were to be cleared and then invested in blues, would you rather a sale of the club anyway or a continuation of the status quo?
