The club are interested in signing Everton forward Ademola Lookman on loan, according to our own Tom Heslop.

Toffees boss Marco Silva is weighing up whether to send the 20-year-old out on loan following a spell at RB Leipzig in Germany last season.

Fans on Twitter were split on whether a deal can be done:

Everton are said to looking for Lookman to get more first-team experience in English football next season, but we are likely to face fierce competition if they want to secure the services of the England Under 21 international.

He impressed during his time at Leipzig. Scoring a winner on his debut against Borussia Monchengladbach, and following that up with four more goals as well as four assists in 11 appearances for the Bundesliga side.

My feeling is this will be a very tough one to get. With his performances in Germany, there will also be a few Premier League clubs considering a loan swoop for the player this summer.

  • Absolute bull this won’t happen tbh I don’t want loan player’s want players committed to the football club we had 5 or 6 last season apart from a decent run by sam Gallagher who contributed ?? No thanks

  • He will have plenty of options but do you play him instead of Jota or Mag’s as he isnt an out and out striker? Don’t think we will be in for him as we need strength in other areas like an out and out striker/centre forward as we only have one.

  • Tbf juke is not a great striker , to slow selfish and needs to many chances per goals scored , so someone, who is very quick and knows where the net is would be welcome, unfortunately don’t think we are in the position to sign players from premier league clubs at the moment. We may have to look down the league s and I would look at mc nulty at Coventry utb x

    • We have Isaac vassell who would have paid him any day of the week much better option in my opinion and he’s our player.
