“Why not?”, “not for me”- These fans split over the idea of recently sacked boss coming to Blues

|

Another one bites the dust in the ever-changing world of football management.

And I suppose until they find another job, they’ll probably be linked with every vacancy that’s going, so why should it be any surprise that Birmingham Live would want to ask us the question.

The Cowley brothers were both relieved of their duties from Huddersfield Town last night, even though they have guided them away from relegation danger in the Championship in a move that left the football world rather stunned.

The brothers have been on a bit of a meteoric rise in the football world over the past few years with their work at Lincoln City, but obviously the work they were doing at the Jon Smith’s Stadium just wasn’t good enough.

Would you like to see the Cowley brothers at Blues?

Yes

No

And with there being a current vacancy with Birmingham City, @BCFC_News put the question to fans if they’d like to see them in charge of us in the future, with fans very much split on the idea. And those against the idea seemed to have their eyes on another recently sacked man instead.

What about you? Would you like to see the Cowley brothers at St Andrew’s?

  • St Francis says:

Get Pearson ASAP, or Bowyer. Cowley Bros will be ok when we’re relegated on Wednesday. BUT, please go for Pearson straight away!

  • Alan Smith says:

Pearson for me,get him in now.Cant see the fuss over Bowyer,to me he has not done a lot,yes promotion with a Yo-Yo side in Charlton but possibly going to be relegated if we don’t get it right on Wednesday.

  • stephen Foster says:

Yes I believe Pearson would be a good fit,did well at leicester, unfairly sacked in my opinion or Johnson ,or Cowley bros if we are relegated.who ever it is we need somebody to nurture our youngsters!!

  • Cannockblue says:

Paul Cook would be my 1st choice then Pearson or Bowyer …Outsider…Keegan a

  • Jimmy says:

Pearson for me 100% . First thing we need above all else is a strong manager who will tell REN to mind his own business on the playing side. If we could get him it would be a great move but I am sure managers talk and who will work with our board ?

    • St Francis says:

I agree with you entirely, but I fear he’ll be another manager linked with stable Bristol City in the first instance and we’ll lose out and end up with Fowler FFS!

  • tracey tyler says:

Paul Cook for me, think he is in the Chris Wilder mould and not scared to bring on youngsters, will work on next to nothing budget which would suit Blues.
