Where do Blues go from here?

It was another miserable night for Gianfranco Zola and Blues yesterday as the team fell to a 2-1 defeat away at Preston North End.

That’s now four losses out of the last five for Blues and eight from 13 in all competitions since Zola arrived at the club- it’s just not good enough, is it?

There’s no doubting that time is needed for a change like this to work out but Zola`s record is horrendous. How long can this run go on for?

At the end of the day, he’s a football manager. He should be able to pick up results however they come and, at the moment, the only thing he is proving is that he can’t get results.

Forget the possession, forget the free flowing attacking football that TTA supposedly want. Football is a results business.

It’s actually embarrassing how we have gone from being just three points off third place in mid-December to now being a massive 21 points off just two months later.

This season is now a complete write off and if the poor results continue, I would be worried that we could get sucked into something at the wrong end of the table.

Defeat on Saturday to QPR will put even more pressure on Zola and I’m unsure how long the board will wait before they decide enough is enough.

How long have we been hearing ‘the results will come`? The reality is, Zola has won just once in his 13 games in charge at the club. It’s simply not good enough.

I’m struggling to find any positives about Blues at the moment. We can dominate play all we like but the defence is a shambles, the midfield look lost and the attack aren’t firing.

Of course, us fans will always be there to support Blues and back the players, but there is no way of defending this horrid run of results.
