Birmingham take on West Brom in the FA Cup today and it is set to be a bumper crowd to welcome the teams to the pitch.

Here are how the stats line up

Birmingham

Birmingham have won 25%, drawn 20% and lost 55% of their last 20 home games.

Birmingham have kept a clean sheet in 2 of their last 20 home games, going on to win 1 and draw 1 of these matches.

Birmingham have failed to score in 7 of their last 20 home games, going on to draw 1 and lose 6 of these matches.

West Brom

West Brom have won 20%, drawn 20% and lost 60% of their last 20 away games.

West Brom have kept a clean sheet in 6 of their last 20 away games, going on to win 3 and draw 3 of these matches.

West Brom have failed to score in 10 of their last 20 away games, going on to draw 3 and lose 7 of these matches.

In truth I’m not sure how much we can read into the stats as it is a cup game. But Baggies are having a torrid time away from home having not won in their last six.

Blues are the other side of the spectrum, with 4 wins in their last 6 at home.

I’ve woken up being very optimistic, Blues will a near full strength side could do it today. Blues 2-1.
