I’m not sure if they’re doing this all with rose-tinted glasses, or if these are their actual feelings.
Either way, it’s certainly a far cry from how the fans were treating him in the early days of him in charge.
The soon to be departing Birmingham City boss Pep Clotet spoke for the first time yesterday about his decision to leave St Andrew’s in the summer since he announced his departure at the beginning of last week, and he cut a rather emotional figure.
Has Clotet been a good head coach overall for the Blues?
Yes
No
Clotet has been at St Andrew’s for over two years now, first joining the club in March of 2018 when Garry Monk was put in charge of first-team affairs, and it’s clearly had an effect on him over the years.
"I love this City. I love this Club. You can take me out of Birmingham, but you will never take Birmingham out of me."

And those words clearly had an effect on Birmingham City fans on social media too, as they responded with kind words of their own to the departing Spaniard.
Damn I got something in both of my eyes at exactly the same time

Some of his tactics & substitutions have been baffling at times. But he has done a better job than I thought. Hope he does well in the future wherever he goes
