The wonderful FA, the guys who put a Scotsman in charge and Swede as National Manager, gave the Wembley contract to an Australian firm who have built it in the wrong place at the wrong time, have done it again.

These faceless dumbbells who think that Uriah Rennie and Rob Styles can actually referee have come up with the plan to end all plans for the FA Cup sixth round .

Midweek kick offs from Monday to Thursday. Middlesbrough and Newcastle will have to travel 700 miles into the worst traffic jam on the planet. Two days off work , London prices and a cost of around £350 to see their team. They must be very grateful.

Blues thankfully are at home and with Liverpool’s poor recent record against Blues the home side may fancy it. That game is a local Derby by comparison to the Magpies visiting the Smoke.

The League programme for Saturday could have been put into the midweek and the Sixth round kept in its rightful place. Our World cup chances, whatever they may be will not increase or decrease because of this. The Germans who have a far better World Cup record than us have moved their cup final forward a MONTH and their season end on April 29th. They still managed six week winter break and the disruption to their season and their national team is nil.

The reason the Germans particularly out do us at every World Cup bar one, is they are run by ?Football people’ like Beckenbauer and other international stalwarts. We are run by the faceless and as Blues fans would put it the ?Who?’
