3 players were in action this weekend for their loan clubs.

Amari’i Bell, the Blues full-back completed yet another game for the Robins. This was his sixth appearance for Swindon Town.

On this occasion, he played an hour, helping his side to a 2-2 draw at home against Colchester United.

According the the official Birmingham City site, ‘Swindon are currently in ninth place, just two points off a play-off position.’

Bell has had a successful loan spell so far, his physicality being an asset to him according to many fans.

Despite already making 17 appearances for Lincoln City during his loan spell, goalkeeper Nick Townsend was not present for his clubs FA Cup tie this weekend.

An imps fan favourite already, Nick has been admired for his shot stopping and how well he commands his box at such a young age.

Finally, James Fry played the 90 minutes for Leamington in their 2-2 draw, which was an away match at Hyde FC.

This was his seventh appearance, and he had a huge impact. Not only did he win a penalty when his cross was handled by the Hyde defender, but he caused the defence problems all afternoon.
