Sheffield Wednesday could deploy their new loan signing against Birmingham in tomorrow’s Sky Bet Championship match.
The 22 year old joined last week from Manchester united and will play with the Owls until the end of the season. It does mean the potential break up of the Nuhiu and May partnership Wednesday have sent out all season.
Keane has spent loan time at QPR, where he failed to find the net and also didn’t score during his time at Wigan. Ultimately the youngster needs to use this loan to reassert his potential as a future United Star.
Up until this point in his career the striker has not really scored many professional goals. In my opinion the pressure for him is mounting, at the age of 22 years old it is time to shine.
Wednesday has 37 points from 26 games and are going steadily in the league, possibly a comfortable place to try and get some goals for the forward.
Birmingham are a sturdy outfit, and scoring past them has proved difficult since Gary Rowett took over the club. I don’t see Blues struggling to cope with Wednesday, a close game and a potential away win as I see it.
