Watched Youngster Now Signed Up.

Birmingham City have given highly rated Koby Arthur on his first professional contract.

The 17 year old has signed a two year deal with Blues after impressing in the under 18 side and the development squad.

So much so that the big clubs have had the youngster watched and nobody would be surprised if a bid came in from a Premier League club.

Now he is under contract for the first team, it means that no club will now be able to grab him for next to nothing.

Manager Lee Clark has said to the Birmingham Mail that he should be seen making an appearance for the first team before the end of the season.

“I have been hugely impressed with Koby and he has now become involved with the first team group on a daily basis.

‘He has a big future ahead of him and he fits the bills in terms of my philosophy of building a young, hungry and talented squad here at Birmingham City.”
