Villa fans are revolting. Sure we all know that, but this time reports are suggesting that they are abandoning their club and refusing to buy season tickets.
On top of that David O’Dreary, the man who ran across OUR pitch to salute the Villa fans best mate Doug Ellis, has been voted as the most unpopular manager in the Midlands.
Think about it, Steve Bruce and West Brom’s Bryan Robson oversaw our teams being relegated and yet the Vilers have voted their manager the worst!
So how did Birmingham City manager Steve Bruce rate?
Not brilliantly it has to be said. In a report I did yesterday I quoted Bruce saying he nearly left but that the majority of fans are behind him (you can still join in with our current poll relating to Bruce) but according to the Football Fans Census on Midlands teams, 78% of Blues fans were against him.
The question the pollsters asked was: Given the resources at his disposal how would you rate your club’s current manager?
Steve Bruce: Very Good 0 per cent, Good 4 per cent, OK 18 per cent, Bad 43 per cent, Very Bad 35 per cent.
The others:
O’Dreary: Very Good 0 per cent, Good 3 per cent, OK 11 per cent, Bad 45 per cent, Very Bad 41 per cent
Hoddle: Very Good 0 per cent, Good 2 per cent, OK 16 per cent, Bad 51 per cent, Very Bad 31 per cent
Robson: Very Good 0 per cent, Good 6 per cent, OK 27 per cent, Bad 56 per cent, Very Bad 11 per cent
