Cheikh N’Doye became a bit of a cult figure at St Andrew’s without having to do a whole lot.
Still, you don’t always have to be a good player to ingratiate yourself towards supporters. He was a genuine hard worker but his lack of ability on the ball is something you couldn’t really miss.

In all seriousness though, I wish N’Doye well on his return to France. His signing may not have met expectations but that could be said of a few who were recruited by Harry Redknapp last summer.
We have almost certainly seen the last of the Senegalese international with the player’s contract expiring when his loan spell ends at Angers.
The French club reportedly plan to snap up the 32-year-old up on a free transfer when his departure from the club is confirmed next summer.
