Birmingham City will be the place where Trevor Francis will be honored for his services to the city.
Trevor Francis is to be honored on the Broad Street walk of stars. Jasper Carrot Revealed the news at St Andrews during their MacMillan fund raising event.
Francis is to be awarded the star on 29 November at Blues home game against Nottingham Forest. He will lead both teams out and the ceremony will take place on the pitch.
The game day is also to be renamed the Trevor Francis day. He will then make his name over to Bar 8 that was named after the player.
Francis I have had to keep this quiet this for a week which was difficult.
It is a great honor, it will soon come around, what better way to celebrate it here at Birmingham City.
I’m really looking forward to it, Birmingham has been a bid part of my life.
I played here for 9 years, I managed here for 5 1/2 years.
In 1996 I had a fantastic opportunity to manage the club and I have lived in Birmingham since.
