Transfer Talk: Blues join the hunt for Reading defender

Birmingham City have reportedly enquired about the possibility of signing Reading full back Jordan Obita, according to the Sun online.

The controversial website are also reporting that fellow Championship sides Middlesbrough, Fulham and Hull City are all interested in the 23-year-old.

Obita played 43 games for the Royals last season, including two in the play-offs where Reading eventually lost in the final at Wembley to Huddersfield Town on penalties.

The defender missed what was a crucial penalty in the shoot-out so one thing is for sure, if Blues do take their interest any further…keep him away from the penalties, he’s no Paul Caddis.
