Blyth Spartans manager feels that his team have every chance of beating Birmingham City when the Third Round kicks off.

Despite the form of Birmingham, home advantage should be more than enough to make an upset possible in the opinion of Wade.

They’ve got to play terrible and we’ve got to play great, but it’s possible.

The gap in quality between a Championship side and a team that play in the seventh English division should tell in fixtures such as these. But as we know, it is often described as ‘the magic of the FA Cup’, anything is possible on the day.

In terms of form, there are a fair few games before the match will be upon us. So that assessment will have to wait until nearer the time. But based on Blues current upturn, complacency or lack of quality is not as great a concern under Rowett.

Blyth will be expecting goals in the game. Their manager has revealed that they will go for the game against Birmingham.

It could be a high-scoring match because we go for it and I can’t wait.

Blues will certainly have to have a terrible day at the office if they are to come undone at Blyth. Blyth are known for the expliots in the league though, recently dispatching Hartlepoole in front of the television cameras.
