Wes Thomas has said he was delighted to pick up the home win against Brighton, helping the club finally move on from their home hoodo.

The Blues striker headed home what proved to be the winner after David Cotterill picked him out with a cross into the box. It would seem that cross was the topic of some debate during the break.

Blues had plenty of shots in the first half but the strikers were unhappy about the balls in to them. In the second half Thomas was able to attack a ball in to give Blues all three points.

The strikers will be spending the start of the season adapting into the team and the same goes the other way round. As it obviously worked on Saturday, exciting times could be ahead as the team adapts to each other.
