Birmingham City suffered a slow start to the season but have since bounced back superbly, entering the international break enjoying a sequence of just one defeat in their last six Championship matches.
A thrilling 3-3 draw with Hull City was witnessed at St. Andrews on Saturday, where a hat-trick from Che Adams stole the show in a match that will be sure to be top of the highlight reels come the end of the campaign.
Adams took his tally for the season to eight league goals with his efforts against the Tigers, which is further evidence of the electric partnership he has created alongside Lukasz Jutkiewicz – who has hit nine so far this season, with only Brentford’s Neal Maupay and Sheffield United’s Billy Sharp scoring more.
Birmingham’s official Twitter account took the opportunity to ask fans who their favourite partnership from the club’s history was and, as expected, Jutkiewicz and Adams were overlooked in favour of some memorable blasts from the past.
We have gathered some of the best responses below.

Bob Latchford and Trevor Francis. In those days we played with three strikers so add Bob Hatton to that list.
