These Fans Are Backing Premier League Striker To Succeed At Birmingham

|

It looks likely that the club will be signing Cardiff City striker Omar Bogle on a loan deal. The move from the Premier League side seems to be close if the Birmingham Mail are to believed.

The 26-year-old has not had the best of times in the last 18 months, having played for three clubs and scored just seven goals, but there is optimism among the fan base that he could succeed at St Andrew’s.

When I asked supporters their opinion of the club signing Bogle, the majority thought he would strengthen our attack:

It’s a difficult one to call. I trust Garry Monk’s judgement so I am inclined to give the forward the benefit of the doubt. He does have a lot to prove in the Championship. Three goals in 14 appearances for Wigan doesn’t tell us much. He was playing for a team fighting against relegation.

Again, at Cardiff, he only made four starts and scored three goals in three games between October and December either side of a three-match ban. However, his loan spell to Peterborough just didn’t work out. Let’s hope things are different if he moves here.
