These Birmingham Fans note two glaring omissions from starting line-up

|

Looks like Pep Clotet wasn’t totally convinced by what he saw on Saturday.

Despite getting rave reviews by some people, it looks as if Dan Crowley’s 94% pass completion percentage wasn’t enough to save him from the chop tonight as the former Arsenal man found himself amongst the substitutes tonight, something that didn’t go unnoticed amongst the Birmingham supporters.

The other person missing from not just the starting eleven, but the entire eighteen man squad was right-back Maxime Colin. Whilst a lot of fans came to the conclusion that he might be injured, Clotet didn’t mention him as one of the injured men when he previewed the game for BCFC.com, so perhaps there was something more to it.

With Clotet saying in the preview that he is still adapting his team, we should have expected some changes, however I don’t think we were expecting those two to be the unfortunate ones.

Those missing players aside, a lot of Birmingham fans seemed pretty pleased with that line-up overall.

Whether or not this is the team of the future, or just a team for one game, we shall have to wait and see.
