Reports in Turkey have linked us with an offer for Arsenal defender Krystian Bielik. Galatasaray are also believed to be in for the 20-year-old, and it looks as if we are the two main clubs looking to recruit the centre-back.
The Polish Under 21 international was previously on loan at St Andrew’s in the latter half of the 2016/17 season. Almost three-quarters of fans polled would like to see the defender back at the club:
The major concern for me would be Bielik’s match fitness. He had a knee injury at the start of last campaign and suffered from a number of hamstring problems whilst on loan at League One side Walsall.
He eventually cut his time at the Saddlers short at the end of March to return to Arsenal for further treatment.
The defender did have his moments in a Blues shirt, and we could do with another body in the centre of defence, but his fitness is a worry. What do you think, is a move fo Bielik a good idea? Let me know in the comments.
