The potential loan ranger – Option No.2

The second part of this series sees me dip into the midfield spots with the potential loan signing being able to play through the middle as well as out wide.

Formerly of Bolton Wanderers and now at Crystal Palace, I think Birmingham City boss Gary Rowett should make a move for Lee Chung-Yong.

So far this season Lee has made 11 appearances for Alan Pardew’s side and he has chipped in with two goals but I think a loan move away from Selhurst Park would do him good.

I think Blues would be able to offer him potential week in, week out first team football and I believe he could be difference in us possibly getting into the play-offs.

During his time at Bolton he was always a real handful when he played against Blues and I think if Rowett gave him the freedom to roam in the midfield, a bit like Jon Toral does at the moment, then he could be a real coop for Blues.

I’m not going to pretend that I know massive amounts about Lee because I don’t but what I do know is that he is a very good player at Championship level and it is clear that he can have an impact in a team as well.

For me, his career with the Eagles hasn’t really taken off (no pun intended) as much as he would have liked it to and a move away from the top flight could resurrect his disheartened season at Palace.

Blues fans, would you like to see Gary Rowett make a move for Lee Chung-Yong during this transfer window? Or do you think he is past it? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section down below!
