Such was the level of excitement when the balls first came out of the hat, for it now to actually be a reality is just bizarre, fascinating and hilarious all at the same time. The Blues now know who they will be facing in the 4th round of the FA Cup, and that team is… Coventry City.
Normally, this wouldn’t be a big deal.
However, given that Coventry are ground sharing St Andrew’s with the Blues, now making Pep Clotet’s men the away side in their home ground, it will certainly throw up a lot of questions as to what is going to happen. Coventry have done their best to try and get some plans and ideas in ahead of time, but to put it into practice is something different.
So when the news came through regarding the game, Blues fans across social media were sent into a sense of, well I’m not quite sure what the emotion is, so I’ll let you work it out.
