LAFFERTY – On loan striker, Kyle Lafferty, has led the line well in his two appearances. Although he is not a prolific goal scorer at club level, he will bring intelligence to the team and gives the opposition defence a lot to think about. He would be a great signing for next season.

END – The season approaches its end, Blues` play-off hopes have more or less been written off. But with a win against Leeds, Blues close the gap to six points with five left to play. Difficult. But not impossible.

EXPERIENCE – It is easy to forget that Gary Rowett is still learning the art of management. He has done a fantastic job at Blues and if the club can keep him at the helm, he will get even better as he gains more experience and – as a result – so will the team. In Gary we trust.

DONALDSON – Clayton Donaldson is unarguably a key player in Blues` set-up when he is firing on all cylinders. You could argue that the wide left role didn`t work as planned against Brighton. But Donaldson showed his worth at Reading with the opening goal and a hard working display.

SHOTTON – The on loan Derby defender slotted in at centre back, alongside Michael Morrison, for the win against Reading. Not only did Shotton score, he also put in a man of the match display. Could he be the solution to Blues` central defensive problems?
