The Hosts – Rotherham United

Struggling Rotherham United have turned to Neil Warnock as Neil Redfearn`s replacement. Despite their position in the Championship`s bottom three, The Millers will be looking to complete a double over Blues after beating them 2-0 at St. Andrew`s back in September.

CURRENT FORM

Rotherham are 22nd, three points adrift of safety. They have won only once in their last eight encounters leading to Redfearn`s dismissal. Blues will be looking to bounce back after a defeat against Sheffield Wednesday – their first in ten league games. Three points behind the play-offs, Blues will be keen to bag the points to stay in touch.

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM ROTHERHAM

If their performance at St. Andrew`s is anything to go by, they will play with a lot of width. The main reason for their success in B9 was Blues` inability to break them down. Rotherham played on the counter and Blues struggled to respond when behind. In Chris Burke, The Millers have an experienced wide player who will be out to impress against his former employers.

TWO G`S MISSING?…

In his pre-match press conference, Gary Rowett revealed that late fitness tests will be given to Stephen Gleeson and Jonathan Grounds who both have knocks. David Davis would more than likely be a straight replacement for Gleeson whereas Ryan Shotton would be the likely deputee for Grounds. Without Gleeson, though, Blues would lose a lot of their distribution channels.

THOUGHTS FROM VITAL ROTHERHAM

Rotherham United have appointed Neil Warnock as their new Manager until the end of the season and it seems to be a good decision amongst the Millers fans. But will he be bringing in his own staff to help him?And if so just who will be his number two.

Personally I’d like to see him give Nicky Eaden a chance after the whirlwind week he’s had but I rather suspect that we could see former Blades boss Kevin Blackwell join Neil at the New York Stadium – Herringthorpe, rotherham.vitalfootball.co.uk

THE FANS VIEWS

@KCM_north_stand – Buzzing for the reception Warnock will get tomorrow #rufc

@CraigPT82 – Not sure on the #warnock appointment? One thing he should bring though is passion like #Evans did redfearn clearly lacked it #rufc

@ChrisBessex – Warnock ghosting in at #RUFC slipped by me. That another team that will be up for a proper fight. #CAFC and BWFC seem to have surrendered.

@RobBrennan82 – Surely Warnock makes a move to get Clint Hill on loan. #RUFC #QPR
