The Club Legends Cup will be held tomorrow (Saturday) at the LG arena. The tournament is to raise money for leukaemia treatment and past stars such as Darren Purse will be involved.

The event will raise cash for Cure Leukaemia, a Birmingham based blood cancer charity. Professor Craddock and his teams are based at the Queen Elizabeth hospital and across the West Midlands.

Darren Purse will be captain of the Birmingham team which will also include Michael Johnson, Martin Grainger, Darren Carter, Geoff Horsfield, Paul Devlin and Ian Bennit. The team is taken from the promotion winning side of 2002. So for any Blues fans that miss the old days, tomorrows event could be a fantastic opportunity.

Doors open from 2:30 pm. 3-5 pm FootieBugs Little Legends Cup, 5-6 pm Ladies Legend Match, 6-9:30 pm Legends Cup and then a raffle draw will be held.

It is always important to help people in a less fortunate position and tomorrow is a fantastic event for all so do come along if you can.
