Mitch Hancox has set himself a target for the up and coming season.

The young defender has been talking about how he wants to get at least 40 games in this season and that Blues should have their sights firmly set on a play off place.

Hancox has not been able to get stuck in so far this season due to an eye watering elbow to the nads, but he has made a recovery and now has other balls on his mind, footballs.

And it would make his season if he could play a part in Blues reaching the play offs

“I am still as hungry as ever,” he told the Birmingham Mail. “Last season was a great season for me but I want more.

“I want to try and play 40 games in the season, double the amount I played last season.

“Every time I am on the bench or in the stands, I am going to make sure I train even harder to try and get in there and be involved.’
