Birmingham City are a step nearer to being taken over by Carson Yeung after his company increased their share capital in the club to 81.7%.
Grandtop International Holdings announced they have received ‘valid acceptances’ in respect of purchasing a further 51.8% of City’s shares.
Early October is the expected date of the take-over which will also see David Sullivan leave the club.
