So, how do you think this season has gone?
Like honestly, how well do you think it has gone? Overall I’m talking about, not just in one specific area.
Whilst results haven’t been ideal, especially the last three away games where we’ve lost a combined 9-0, at least there are some positives to be taken from it. Like all the new contracts the club gave out in pre-season, as well as the emergence of Jude Bellingham.
Well, that’s where I stand on the matter anyway, but it looks as if there’s one person who doesn’t quite agree with me, something I’m pretty much used to by now.
Blues fan James Jenkinson (@JJJenkinson on Twitter) posed the question after the Swansea game that he believed Birmingham have been second best in all of their games, not just the ones that we’ve lost.
And he certainly got a debate going, with the majority fans on his side.
We just aren’t working out we want attacking football and he isn’t the man

Thank God someone said it, and also no one (management team) can seem to grasp that juke cant play on his own. Nothing up top, taking Gimenez off killed us today.

Missing Adams and Morrison. Davis and Roberts are woeful and should be nowhere near this side. Having said that, our only true aim is survival really. Need to work harder in midfield and show more craft…

Even Barnsley if we’re honest first half was woeful. All this PR stuff to get the fans riled up will really backfire if things don’t get sorted. Tactical ineptitude

Where’s this new footballing philosophy J.? I’m seeing precious little of it without Dan Crowley playing but he keeps leaving him out. I’m confused…

To get where they want to be it will take 3-4 windows.

Although this does really touch on what I was saying the other day about expectations for the season. Is it results that fans are looking for? Or do they want to see nice performances as well?
