According to reporting on social media site Twitter, Birmingham City are thought to be interested in the services of Swindon Town striker Nicky Ajose.

Football League Zone (@TheFLZone), are reporting that Blues are interested in the striker who scored a staggering 25 goals in just 40 appearances last season for Town.

However, despite their links, it is thought that the League One side don’t want to part company with their star striker, but with Ajose thought to be valued at around £750,000, it might not put the Championship side off making further enquiries.

Earlier this week, Gary Rowett made an enquiry for another League One hotshot in the form of Walsall striker Tom Bradshaw and should there be money made available, could Blues made a move for both strikers during the summer transfer window?

Ajose, 24, bagged five braces and one match winning hattrick last season, whilst Bradshaw, 23, bagged one brace and an impressive hattrick away at Nottingham Forest in a 4-3 Capital One Cup game back in August.

Out of the two names that have been mentioned, I would personally like to see Bradshaw come in but with links now being made to Ajose, could we be about to land ourselves a proven goal scorer from the level below us?

Blues fans, which of the two strikers would you like to see join the club this summer? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section down below!
