Isaac Vassell looked like a good signing before a knee injury ended his season prematurely back in October.
We have been one striker short since then, but he’ll likely be fit and firing to play a role under Garry Monk for the start of next season.
Fans on Twitter are rubbing their hands at the prospect of Isaac linking up with Che Adams when August comes around:
Be even nicer to see Troy Deeney in between them!!

I think he could ,be but would it be too much of a gamble to rely on him n che. I think we need someone in there proven but love his pace and if him n che click we could have great strike pairing

Verdict:
At 24 years of age, our no.11 does indeed have youth on his side to return stronger than ever after a serious injury. With Sam Gallagher having returned to Southampton, the frontline will need to be strengthened, and the former Luton forward could play a vital role.
If we do play two up top, he could be a regular fixture in the team next campaign, and from what we saw from him prior to being sidelined, he could prove a major weapon against opposition defences.
