Steve Cotterill looking to add new faces in January

Steve Cotterill has one eye on the January transfer window with ‘three or four’ players on his wanted list.

The Blues manager is currently trying to piece together a jigsaw of a squad that has been put together by four different managers but is keen to put his own stamp on it.

It is thought that Cotterill is particularly interested in strengthening the competition in the central defensive area and adding another striker to his ranks.

The Blues hierarchy have indicated that they will back their manager with funds as he embarks on his first transfer window in charge.

Cotterill has previously said that it will take at least two transfer windows to rectify the imbalance within the squad.
