‘St. Andrew`s has been named Venue of the Year at Cleanevent Group`s annual awards ceremony,’ states the Birmingham City official website.
‘It`s the second successive year that Blues` home stadium has clinched the accolade.’
Richard Lee has always been a brilliant venue manager at the Blues. He has improved vast aspects of the match day experience especially for families. So, it’s certainly a credit to him that the award has been given to Birmingham City.
The article goes on to say, ‘In winning the award, St. Andrew`s came out on top of several world-famous venues including Wembley Stadium, The Emirates Stadium and White Hart Lane.’
The most pleasing thing about winning the award, is that it’s not just based on one factor. Several factors such as staff happiness and ability, cleanliness, financial management and sticking to legislation are all a big part of the award.
