Jonathan Spector has insisted Blues can take the positives from the first half and move on to the next game. Following a disappointing defeat the defender spoke to the Blues media team.
The American was pleased with the way Birmingham played and pressured in the first half and said that they just didn’t take their chances on the day.
Wednesday, in his opinion, just did what Blues had been able to do in the first half, back to them in the second. Although, Wednesday managed to score their chances.
He also said Blues weren’t sure if they could put their finger on exactly why the second half went as badly as it did; after the Blues dressing room felt they would go on and win the game.
Spector finally admitted that it was disappointing to let Stevie May cut in on his left after running down the right to get his shot in at Randolph for their first.
