‘So disappointing’, ‘say no more’: Some Birmingham fans devastated with forward’s performance

|

The one that got away.

That’s how things look to be playing out at St Andrew’s as one of the summer targets has hit the ground running with his new club. The man I’m referring to of course is George Puscas.

Having scored his first goal for the club in only his second game against Wycombe Wanderers in the Carabao Cup, he really caught the attention of the EFL, and the world for that matter on Sunday with a fantastic display against Cardiff City.

And Birmingham fans were not too happy with what they saw. With the forward department lacking options in reserve at the moment, it was an area that needed to be addressed in the summer but sadly wasn’t. Now to see someone that the club were in negotiations with start their Championship career so well in front of their eyes is proving very hard to take. In fact, they took to Twitter to express just how angry they were that they had let someone so promising slip through their fingers.

If this is how they’re reacting now, I’d hate to think what would happen if he ended up scoring against them. That game on December 7th is going to have some added spice to it now.
