Sky Pundit Predicts Birmingham Will Fire More Blanks At Bolton

|

Sky pundit David Prutton believes tonight’s game against Bolton will end in a stalemate with neither side likely to score.

The former Forest midfielder says that after seeing us against Swansea last week, he doesn’t believe we’ll find a cutting edge when we face Phil Parkinson’s side:

“It’s a funny one with Birmingham because you look at how well they played against Swansea last Friday, but they just weren’t clinical enough. Another stalemate for me.”

Our record of scoring away goals is admittedly abysmal. We scored just 17 goals away from St Andrew’s last season and against Middlesbrough, we certainly didn’t look like creating that much even before going down to ten men.

Still, Bolton did concede two goals against Bristol City in their first home game of the season. The Robins came from 2-0 down to rescue a point 11 days ago.

With Omar Bogle offering more of a threat going forward as well, I think we’ll cause our opponents some trouble this evening. Here’s hoping for a repeat performance from last season when we came away with a vital 1-0 win.
