“Should be manager”- Many Blues fans pile on the praise for veteran after his post-loss comments

|

I think as a player, this is really all that you can ask for.

To not come under too much fire after a game like that, a free pass if you will.

Blues fell to a devastating loss away to Fulham yesterday, a goal from Josh Onomah deep into injury time enough to win it for the home side.

Despite hanging on so desperately for large portions of the game, including some heroic saves from Lee Camp in goal, it just wasn’t enough and Pep Clotet’s men have now picked up just two points since the season restarted, and have lost two games in a row.

And it was Camp’s job to face the media after the game, and the 35-year-old said that the team deserved more out of the game based on the number of chances they managed to keep the hosts down to.

Could Lee Camp be manager one day?

Yes

No

Blues fans were quick to rally round the stopper for his efforts at Craven Cottage, with some cheeky fans, perhaps reminiscing about his Football Manager exploits, said that he should be given the head coach’s job until the end of the season.

What about you? What did you make of Camp’s and the team’s display?

Forget it,Camp is not a coach, OK goalkeeper but still prone to the odd lapse

    Another pointless “article”. Drivel.

I have no doubt that the people singing Camp’s praises are the same ones that were moaning about him and demanding that he was dropped a few months ago. People are fickle and not worth listening to, and I include myself.
