Lots of Blues fans have been giving their thoughts on young Jude Bellingham after a controversial moment during the 3-1 defeat against Reading.
One of the more crucial points of the game, and something that could have been a real turning point, came in the 72nd minute as Bellingham appeared to be dragged down in the penalty area at a time when the Blues could have grabbed an equaliser, however the referee waved away the appeals.

And when asked about the incident by a fan after the game, the 16-year-old gave a humorous response, followed by a more diplomatic one.
In all seriousness, we cannot blame the officials for the way in which we lost that game. However, to miss such an obvious foul at such a crucial point of the match has ultimately cost us a chance to get back into that game and is therefore very frustrating.💙

And Blues fans quickly took to social media to praise the young man for conducting himself with such decorum over the matter, with many of them talking about his overall maturity in a situation like that, something that wasn’t necessarily displayed by some members of the St Andrew’s faithful in the aftermath of the incident.
