Birmingham City have signed midfielder Emyr Huws on a one month loan spell from Manchester City.
The 20 year old will now be with Blues until March 1 and becomes the second youngster that Manchester City have loaned to the club having signed Albert Rusnak last week.
Hughes has been a regular in City’s development squad and has made one substitute appearance in the first team coming on in the last quarter hour of the 5-0 demolition of Blackburn in the FA Cup.
Speaking to Man City’s official website, Hughes said: ‘I’m really happy to be joining Albert there, obviously it helps to have someone there I know. The Championship is a really good league and I’m looking forward to getting in there and hopefully proving myself.’
