Birmingham City have been linked with a move for Arsenal midfielder Gedion Zelalem in several of today’s papers (19th).

The Daily Record are reporting that Blues are one of several teams who are interested in the services of the 18 year old.

Other teams who are rumoured to be interested in Zelalem are Rangers and Fulham, along with several unnamed Championship sides.

Blues, who have already taken Jon Toral on loan from Arsenal, are now looking to add another piece of quality to their squad and Zelalem is the reported target.

According to reports, the teenager has already held progressive talks with Rangers. If he moved to Rangers, he would become the third player to choose the Scottish club ahead of Gary Rowett’s side.

Earlier in the window, Rob Kiernan and Wes Foderingham both joined the Scottish side after interest from Blues.
