  • Come on blues make all the family have a great Christmas…you know what to do ….merry Xmas to all at stans

  • Aftermatch comments made by our manager makes for insulting reading. No longer can the humble fan stomach this anymore. My last post now until this awful mess is sorted. However,my findings over the last six weeks have convinced me that our owners -whoever they are-will sell up quickly. Our club is currently rudderless and this is what I believe SC is trying to say.He is in position purely because there is no one around. All my opinion I know.January will see a full collapse with the necessary measures being set up to enable the club to see out the season.Cotterill,Carsley and Robinson left running on empty is the best way to put it.Again my opinion.

  • Ohio. What do you mean by sorting out? What is the solution? It’s very difficult for us fans to understand what is exactly going on, especially after another SC explanation, under girded with coded messages and strange reasoning. He is starting to sound more and more like the Riddler from Batman.

  • BS.No football club would allow their manager to make these latest statements. They would be ousted within seconds.TTA are about as transparent as the fog and imo they don’t want to sack Cotterill as it would mean getting rid of Ren.Whatever the next step will be it will, again my opinion,be releasing this club to another buyer.Harry brought excitement and hope for them, but knee jerk reactions sabotaged their dream. Then why did they do it? Culture when east meets west.We cannot understand it and never will.

  • Ohio. These are sad times indeed. It’s a really bad sign when we don’t even know who TTA are? Why so cloak and dagger – whatever happened to transparency??

  • BS. Main problem I have, and always have had,is the TTA title. I don’t get it and I don’t buy it.Tangled, deliberately constructed business set up with as you put it,cloak and dagger. What concerns me is the deeds they hold on the Stans. What are their plans. Also I now hear of Cotterill being backed in the window.I am not being taken in.Give him a few bob, placate the gullable fans and get on flogging the club.”

  • Ohio. I would be happy if they sold the club. The chances of the new owners being as bad are very slim.

  • It’s the mess they leave behind is the concern.Players who signed long contracts for example-hopefully these hold severe reduction clauses should relegation occur. With our current owners you just don’t know what they agreed when Harry signed them.If relegation was never considered and we drop-then a Zigic situation with a number of players would be repeated. As I have said lately, relegation to league One will not be the biggest problem.

  • The contracts are already sealed whether new ownership takes place or not, so I don’t understand how that would be more of a mess? My thinking is new owners, new broom, sweep clean and start running the club properly just like Sullivan & co did. They inherited a mess and straightened it out very quickly, steering the whole club forward with professionalism, certainly at board level.

  • BS. Yes of course the new contracts had been sealed. My concern is that the players should have a drastic cut if relegated.I am not convinced Harry and co.even considered such a clause. It is this type of ‘mess’ that is causing all the issues ( better add) imo.Our club is fragile with uncertainty in areas not just on the field. For once Cotterill hit the nail etc.and is so right-we don’t know half of it. Maybe a blessing we don’t.

  • Oh I see what you mean. Well Harry had nothing to do with contract talks did he? If he said, ‘i don’t know why they are not getting them over the line’ once, he said it ten times. Which probably angered the powers that be, and was maybe one of the reasons they sacked him. I think player contracts is Vetere’s remit – although not really sure what value he adds to the club? And to be honest not sure what influence Harry had, I’m just reading between the lines, for whatever that’s worth.

  • If they have been too stupid to put relegation clauses in and Daniel Iverys accounts of 50m in debt are correct. Not sure how much we will be able to recoup from player sales. Relegation will mean administration and -15 points. Never mind league 1 we will be struggling to stay out of league 2.

  • Beware the crafty statement regarding the backing of Cotterill with the move for the Nigerian midfielder.Fellow fans read into this-and think of Keifenbeld.
