Ryan Shotton undergoing medical ahead of Boro move

Birmingham City defender Ryan Shotton is currently undergoing his medical of fellow Championship club Middlebrough ahead of his £3 million move.

The move has been on the cards for several weeks now but Blues manager Harry Redknapp has been reluctant to let him leave before finding a replacement.

With Shotton now up north, it would indicate that Blues’ move for Brentford defender Harlee Dean is almost complete.
