Welcome back to our series of articles that take a look back over the Rowett Revolution, well all of the good bits anyway. Next up is Rowett’s second game in charge, a huge win over the Hornets.

Watford came to town completely expecting 3 points. Fighting at the top of the table with Wolves for automatic promotion – until they played Birmingham, both were knocked out of the top 2 in 2 weeks by the Blues.

Birmingham ran out 2-1 winners in what was the perfect home start under the new manager. At the time, the fans still expected very little from the new regime.

No one expected the coming month or so, but we’ll get to those in due time. Watch below as 2 goals from Clayton Donaldson sunk the Championships top team.
